Cost: $5/Girl; $3/Adult
The Girl Scouts have been given an all-access, after-hours pass to the Children’s Museum of Missoula. Let your imaginations run wild as you explore dinosaurs, bubbles, forests, and more as the museum opens its doors for a special evening reserved just for Girl Scouts!
The Children’s Museum is packed with engaging museum exhibits crafted specifically for young children. Participants will have free reign of the museum exhibits like the climbing fort and puppet theater, or they can spend their time pretending to be doctors, farmers, or construction workers. Girls will spend the evening learning through play as they also try to step into a giant bubble or go shopping through the make believe health food store. We can only hope that one night at the museum is enough to do all the great activities at The Children’s Museum!
The ‘Precipitation Station’ and the ‘Water Works Wonders’ station relate to the Daisy Journeys and to the Brownies’ ‘Wonders of Water’ Journey. Adults should also encourage girls to try the ‘Go Fish’ hands-on fishing exhibit.
This event is open to girls in grades K-3. Participants must plan to attend with an adult (parent or troop leader). We will provide a healthy snack. Girls will also get to make a special science experiment to take home.
Recruit a Friend: Make this event even more memorable by bringing your non-Girl Scout friends too! Show them how much fun you can have as a Scout and share this wonderful experience together. Non-Girl Scouts will pay the annual membership fee of $12 in addition to the program fee, which will enable them to attend all Girl Scout programs for the membership year.
This event is open to girls in grades K-3 and supervising adults.
